Operational Setup

Import / Export Licensing

Trade card registration, MIMT licensing, and customs procedures for goods moving in and out of Iran.

Advisory team reviewing documents over Tehran skyline at dusk

Every commercial shipment into or out of Iran needs a registered Trade Card, an order-registration number from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade (MIMT), and a customs declaration that survives valuation challenge. We handle the full chain — and resolve the recurring problems at the border before they delay your container.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does order registration take?+

Standard registrations clear in 24–72 hours when supporting documents are complete. Currency allocation may add 5–10 business days depending on commodity class.

Can I import without a local Iranian entity?+

No. A commercial Trade Card requires an Iranian-registered company or an ICCIMA-recognised individual importer. We can set up the entity in parallel with the licensing.

What if customs challenges my declared value?+

We respond at the first valuation commission with documentary evidence (commercial invoices, comparable transactions, and bank settlement proof). Most challenges are resolved without escalation to the customs court.

Do you handle sanctioned-goods classification?+

We will not arrange the import or export of goods subject to UN, OFAC, or EU restriction. We do flag dual-use risk early so the transaction can be structured legally.
