Attended by more than 1,100 Iranian and foreign companies, Iran Plast 2017 will be underway until September 27 at the Tehran International Exhibitions Center.
Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, and a number of other top officials took part in the opening of the exhibition.
Known as one of the major events in the plastics industry in the Middle East, this year’s Iran Plast has provided an opportunity for 600 Iranian and 524 foreign enterprises to showcase their products and services in the field of raw materials and the industrial machinery and equipment for manufacturing plastic and rubber products.
The foreign companies in the expo are coming from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Britain, Japan, India, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, China and a number of other countries.
Since coming into existence in 2002, Iran Plast has hosted more than 4,000 companies in the plastics industry, according to its website.
