"A delegation from Iran’s medicine investment corporation is now in Ghana to discuss cooperation between the two countries, specially in medical and export of medicine," Ayorkor Botchway said while referring to the high quality of Iran's medicine.
The Iranian ambassador, for his part, said Tehran is ready to export medicines to Ghana and Western Africa.
During the visit to Ghana, the Iranian medicine delegation had 13 meetings with representatives of different ministries and private companies in Accra.

During the meeting in the Iranian capital, the senior Iranian and Ghanaian diplomats explored avenues for bolstering and reinvigorating mutual cooperation.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister praised the outgoing Ghanaian ambassador's activities during his tenure in Iran, and said, "Expansion of ties with Africa topped Iran's foreign policy agenda After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979."
Jaberi Ansari said that Iran and Ghana enjoy good relations, adding that one of the reasons for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries was the prevalence of stability in Ghana over past two decades.
Ayembillah, for his part, appreciated the Iranian foreign ministry for its sincere cooperation during his tenure, and said, "Over the past 4 years reciprocal visits by both presidents and foreign ministers took place and the fifth round of joint economic commission meeting was held.
He said that after ending his tenure, he will continue his efforts aimed at boosting bilateral ties.
