Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Committee will kick off on April 17 and it will last two days.
A high-ranking Pakistani delegation will leave Islamabad for Tehran on Saturday to participate in the 20th Joint Economic Commission meeting in the Iranian capital.
The Pakistani delegation will include officials from ministries of finance, commerce, petroleum and natural resources, water and power, industries, ports and shipping and also officials from different banks of Pakistan.
The meeting will be held as Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) signed an agreement in Tehran which is seen as a big step in the bilateral trade and economic ties.
The two sides will discuss important issues such as Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in the JEC meeting.
The leaders of Iran and Pakistan have vowed to enhance the values of trade exchanges between the two countries to the level of $5 billion.
