He said Iran is very serious to abide by its commitments to cut carbon production and increase use of new energies within framework of Paris accord.
He added that Iran enjoys rich experience in establishment the network for exchange and transfer of power with seven countries of the region.
He suggested that besides oil and gas transfer lines, exchange of electricity and establishment of power networks be taken into consideration by the members.
Rusnak said in turn that he wanted Iran to play more active role in materialization of the goals of the Energy Charter.
Iran can extend its experience in oil, gas, power and workforce supply to the members, host different charter sessions and contribute to compilation of the energy rules in world energy equations, he added.
The Conference brought together non-observer countries and other international organizations to confer on the issues of strengthening energy security by better mobilization of global energy architecture, addressing climate change and its impacts on Asia as well as challenges and opportunities for better global energy future.
In addition to Iran, Iraq, Cambodia, Guatemala, and Central African Union also signed up to the document.
The 27th Meeting of the Energy Charter Conference kicked off on Friday in Tokyo and continues with the third Ministerial Session on Saturday 26 November.
