Mahmudovic said for the first ever, the two sides are to sign an energy cooperation agreement and Iran is to contribute into establishment of a power plant using renewable energies like solar energy in southern provinces of Kazakhstan.
He told the 15th Iran-Kazakhstan Joint Economic, Commercial, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Commission session that a list of Kazakh companies are to be put at the disposal of Iranian partners in order for privatization to speed up bilateral commercial relations.
He added that in the transportation sector, there are several cooperation documents which envision connection of the Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan and Iran through the North-South Railway.
He noted that one more way for promotion of commercial and industrial cooperation has been a roadmap for industrialization and transportation, that was signed during Iranian president's visit to Tehran.
He added that the deal foresees eight projects, worth 1.3 billion dollars, and two of the projects have up to so far been implemented and six projects are yet underway.
Regarding presence in Eurasian Customs Union, Kazakhstan can serve as road of Iranian traders' access to the big market of 185 million.
