Such a remarkable accord can be investigated from various angles: Here it's good to focus on the issue from the economic diplomacy angle.
At a glance it can be said that oil diplomacy of Ministry of Petroleum, regarding the success it has had in the international politico-economic domain, can turn into a model for economic diplomacy of the country and other ministries should take it as a model in various industrial, mineral, trade and agricultural sectors, thus generalizing economic diplomacy in Iran.
Over the past years, there have been weaknesses in the economic approaches but fortunately as Government of Hope and Prudence took office, the economic approach has been dominating in Iranian embassies more than ever and ambassadors, while fulfilling their responsibility and regular activities, try to launch study on economic opportunity of Iran and their country of mission.
Meanwhile, certain ministries whose activity is economic in nature like Ministry of Petroleum have been following up economic diplomacy, thus trying to help the country achieve its objectives in the international economic issues and secure national interests. It seems that generalization of such an approach in Ministry of Petroleum, as the most important economic ministry of the country, to other ministries is an issue which should be put on agenda of other ministers, whose mission is economic in nature. The ministers should follow up successful and effective diplomacy so as to help the country attain its goals in various economic sectors.
Naturally, if such an approach is followed in our ministries, foreign investment can lead to Iran with a better plan and benefit from economic opportunities in various sectors.
Economic development of the country in the post-JCPOA era needs revival of cooperation in the international domain. To this end, the ministries in charge of economy shoulder a heavy responsibility. Had it not been for firm determination of the Ministry of Petroleum in recent talks and had it not been for the backup provided for the ministry's endeavor, we would not have been successful in oil diplomacy.
Hence, it seems that regarding hopes arising in the post-JCPOA era, the Iranian ministries with economic mission are advised to employ all their facilities to facilitate renovation of industries and inflow of foreign capital. Various production sectors in the country should be able to market their products by modernizing their equipment so that their products are competitive for the goods of the same kind both in terms of quality and price.
