Shamkhani added that Iran has met the nuclear deal (JCPOA) obligations on its part, and that the success of the deal depends on the compensation of the delays on the part of the western countries and their complete fulfillment of their commitments to the deal.
He further emphasized on international cooperation for comprehensively confronting the roots of terrorism and restricting the terrorists’ human, ammunition, and financial supplies.
"Keeping silence against the shameful crimes of Al-Salman against Yemeni defenseless women and children means complicity in a genocide and explosion of the poor country’s resources and infrastructures,” Shamkhani noted stressing on the necessity of EU involvement in preventing Yemeni crisis and brutal massacring of Yemenis by Saudi regime.
Jean Asselborn also appreciated the key role of Islamic Republic of Iran in fighting terrorism and emphasized the bilateral consultations and collaborations between the two country.
Stressing the activation of capacities the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (known as JCPOA) has provided for the development of relationships between Iran and European countries, Asselborn said "European countries’ approach, specially after the nuclear deal with Iran, is to comprehensively develop joint collaborations and investments in infrastructures in order for reaching a long-run and sustainable economic relations”.
