Following three months meetings between the two museums’ officials, director of Iran National Museum JebraelNokandeh and the director of Shanghai Museum of China met on Sunday and discussed about bilateral cooperation in field of joint publications,exchange of experts, training workshops and organizing the Great Silk Road exhibition attended by national museums of countries in the ancient Silk Road route.
Emphasizing the deep-rooted relations between Iran and China, Nokandeh said: “the continuation of such cultural relations would have resulted in more closeness and mutual understanding between the two ancient cultures”.
The director of Shanghai Museum of China in his part insisted on developing cultural relations and called cooperation between museums as a factor of reinforcement of the bilateral relations.
Shanghai Museum delegation along with Nokande and the museum experts visit Museum of Ancient Iran and Museum of the Islamic Era followed by the two directors signed a MoU.
