"Iran is also keen on exporting its Iranian software to Africa," Vaezi said in a meeting with several African officials on the sidelines of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
He reiterated Iran's determination to export technical and engineering services to the African countries.
Inaugurated in Geneva on June 12, the WSIS is slated to wrap up on June 16.
In a relevant development in early May, a senior Iranian diplomat called for broadening of mutual cooperation between Tehran and African states, specially Cameroon.
"Iran is resolved to consolidate bilateral ties with Cameroon and other African states," Iranian Foreign Ministry's Director General for Africa Mehdi Aqa Jafari said in a meeting with Cameroon Minister of Islamic World Edum Gregum in Yaoundé.
The senior Iranian diplomat pointed to the numerous capacities and opportunities in various fields of economy, technology and industry, and said that broadening of cooperation between private sectors of the two countries is essential.
Gregun, for his part, urged Iranian companies to participate in the development projects of the African country.
During the meeting, the two sides explored avenues for promoting regional and international cooperation in various fields such as fighting terrorism and extremism and enhancing collaboration in the international circles.
They also underlined both countries’ joint efforts to bolster unity in Islamic world and step up cooperation in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
African visit of Foreign Ministry’s director general took him to Senegal, Nigeria and Ivory Coast prior to Cameroon.
