Tayebnia will participate in the forum in Beijing on May 14-15 as Iran’s representative.
A part of the 'Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road' initiative launched by President Xi Jinping in 2013, the Belt and Road Forum (BRF) is being attended by 29 heads of states, 9 prime ministers, 7 ministers, 190 ministries officials from around the world, 89 representatives from 61 international organizations including UN Secretary General, World Bank president and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director as well as 1200 states officials, experts and heads of institutions from 110 countries.
Tayebnia will meet with Chinese officials and the representatives of other countries on the sideline of the forum.
